Wow, I can't believe it is February already. January flew right by and as you can tell from the date of my last blog, it was a busy month. Maybe that's why it went by so fast. They say time flies when your having fun.
I absolutely love February!! Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays for a couple of reasons. Travis and I were engaged on Valentine' s Day. It's hard to imagine, but yeah, it was 19 years ago. I mentioned just a couple of week's ago (January 23rd) to the ladies I work with that it had been 20 years since Travis and my first date. Now look at us as we have two beautiful boys who I can't imagine life without. One of those boys is the second reason why I love Valentine's so much. Nelson was born on February 14th. I have no doubt that the timing was due to the fact that he would bring so much love into our home.
February looks to keep our household going full speed ahead. Nelson is still playing basketball and Brandon is beginning track. I am so excited to watch Brandon this year. He has grown so much and is a lot stronger than he was last season. It has been fun watching Nelson play basketball. Even though this is his first year, he has learned a lot and does quite well. He definitely doesn't miss a beat. He hustles ALL THE TIME!!
Our family is looking forward to our annual Nascar trip to Las Vegas at the end of this month. We enjoy this time with friends and family as there are about 37 of us that will attend the race together. We spend the entire weekend and really have a great time.
