Well, I can't believe we are inching in on the month of December. I love this time of year!! It begins with Thanksgiving and continues through the Christmas holidays. A time to reflect upon all the many things I have in my life to be thankful for. Just to mention a few: family, friends, health, a happy home, and the freedoms we enjoy.
My family spent Thanksgiving at my parents home in Milford. Everyone in my family was there and if I can count right, I think that totals 34. The food was outstanding. My favorite was the pies. There was just about any kind of pie a person could wish for.
We are looking forward to Christmas at our home. Although I have some decorating to do around the house, I have a lot of my shopping done. I hope to spend time this year doing a little baking to share with friends and family. I actually love to cook when I have the time.
